Lord, I am confused as to what I should learn from that I have read. It seems that all the scripture that I read in 2 Kings, 2 Chronicles and Jeremiah was just war after war and lie after lie. I recognize I don’t understand the value not only because I see that all of it was to prove, yet again, that You tried to change the hearts of Your people, Israel, so many times, yet they enjoyed worshiping idols and did not honor Your wishes and blatantly lied. They were so far from You that they even lied to You through Jeremiah, Your prophet. Deceit and confusion seem to work together so well, that we do not understand even what we are doing will only keep us from You. Thank You that above all, You have preserved me so that I can be in relationship with You and bless You and bless others. I repent for continually falling as though to pull judgement and punishment on my own head. I don’t know how to stop.
Praise Your Holy Name that Jesus Christ, Your Son, the human version of You, paid for my sin and allowed me access to Your Holy Spirit–who guides me, teaches me and empowers me to always come back to You. I thank You that You have made me worthy because everything I try, without You, is nothing.
I pray, Lord, that You show me what I look like in You and You in me, fervently loving the people You put in my life–forgiving and being patient and delivering what You empower me to give them.
Jesus, my heart is sad for the people in the Goldendale area that are being displaced by fires. Especially for families that have only recently rebuilt from past catastrophes. how they must be riddled with anxiety. Please pour peace over these people and send angles to protect the firefighters. Thank You that in Your wisdom You will bless Your children. Thank You for your faithfulness and Your ability to find glory in even the most difficult situations.
Praise You, Jesus, for protecting the people on the two airplanes that hit today! I know their families are so thankful!
Revelations seems so deep, I can’t understand, yet so easy because the faith You give me proves that I will know what I need, when it is time. I know the devil is on the earth. I see him so often and the joy he finds in misleading people offends me so much. Thank You that I can talk to You about this.
Thank You that war, deceit and all the troubles of the world cannot cover up how great You are! How healing Your truth is. How full Your salvation is! Thank You for being the Beginning and the End!
In Your justice, thank You that those who lead others into captivity or kill by the sword, suffer from the same fate. But Lord, if they an be saved, You will save them–and You will be glorified!
Thank You that You invite Your believers into Your crucifixion so that we are know by You and You carry our burdens so that no matter what comes to tempt, destroy or hurt us, we can remain faithful to live in You.
Thank You that You have proven Your Word and every knee shall bow and tongue confess that You are magnificent, Counselor, Prince of Peace, Messiah and Your perfect love casts out all fear and Your blood covers every sin.
Thank You Lord for every blessing You have for John H. Although, his accusations have truth, his judgement has only spread pain and division. Out of his mouth I see what was planted in him by deceit. Jesus, I ask that You would free him from his accusers and overflow him with Your love that casts out all fear and loathing, while building faith and hope and joy.
I bear as much of myself as I can for Your examination. Thank You that You have chosen me and admonish me and teach in love and protect me from evil. That in Your presence I am know. My soul is singing praises for what I don’t understand yet!
Bless Love Overwhelming Lord. Communication, Cooperation and Grace are my prayer for all who work there, receive services there or are are affected by their presence. I thank You for grace and provision for their neighbors, Kelso Police, City Officials and anyone who spreads rumors and descent and any word that does not lift up what You are doing in and through Love Overwhelming.
Thank You that You uphold Your children in their integrity and set us before Your face forever!
Bless Your people with every blessing You have prepared before them.
