Regarding I-638

Dear Representatives,

I am writing regarding I-638 and I just want to say, “What the hell?” Your little change to section 3 of RCW 28A.600 is only intended for female students because you have decided that male students must be prohibited from any athletic activities that girls are in. So, for a girl who wants to be part of any individual or team competition activity, she has to have a health examination, that includes having her vagina examined and her genetic make-up and her endogenously produced testosterone levels tested by a blood test.

All of this is so that you can protect girls from people that make up .005% of all the students in Washington State. I am not sure I am correct. I Googled how many students we have in Washington State and was told that we have 1.2 million and then I went to the Washington LBGT+ Survey for 2025 to learn that we have 7,000 Transgender Students in Washington State, but it has been a long time since I practiced math, my numbers might be off, but you can eyeball it and see there is a huge deficit in the numbers.

Here is a redundant question – Do you have any idea what it is like to be a girl? Don’t you think we could come up with an easier way to curtain off a part of the locker room or send someone out early or find some way to give someone privacy in the case that a transgender student might be at your child’s school?

Please stop being so dramatic about these kids, someone might think you are insecure or something. Please stop worrying about what is in other people’s pants. It’s none of your business.
