If I were only human
I would be scared of me
because I can’t tell you
where the miracles come from
if God were not my weapon of choice
because He is my strength and shield

He leads me to abundance and safety
He is the author of my peace
He takes me where we will both will be blessed
because it makes Him happy
Even if I am surrounded by evil and death
He is my comfort
He blesses me openly with goodness and mercy
and I am never separate from Him
~
When I have had no one
I have had Him
When we didn’t have enough
He carried us through to the next day
I asked you if you talked to God about that
because I don’t wallow in worries
I take them to the maker of miracles
~
I do have burdens
but I don’t carry them alone
I hope that you would know what that feels like
because when you tell me your problems
this is how I know to help you
I wasn’t pushing you away
I was suggesting the Creator help you with this one
