What does Summer mean when she says: Be Blessed

A blessing can be:

  • a prayer
  • something that contributes or promotes to your wellness, prosperity or happiness
  • a seal of approval

When I say, “Be Blessed,” I hope you are open to to all the goodness that is available to you today. I believe every day is a gift and every day has treasures to be found. And Joy is a choice.

You can choose to be a victim, a liar, and a participant in your own downfall, OR you can choose to overcome as many hurdles as you are able, tell the truth, and learn new tools to be healthier and better able tomorrow.

When I say, “I love you.” I will love you regardless of your choice. But your choice may limit your access to me. Because I also believe everyone is a trauma survivor and we all deserve respect, gentleness, consequences.
